Energetic Celtic Music

Jigsaw play an energetic blend of traditional Celtic instrumental sets and Scottish / Irish songs that get any crown foot stomping and dancing.

Their individual musical origins range from classical orchestral training, through to post punk influences, bringing a unique quality to their arrangements and performance.

They are as comfortable playing for traditional Ceilidh dances or sweaty mosh pits.

Jigsaw are available for Ceilidhs, Weddings, Bars, Clubs, Festivals and Private Parties.

The Band

  • Louise

    Fiddle

    A classically trained violinist, Louise turned down a scholarship to the Royal Academy to travel the world. She is now found fiddling for Jigsaw and local ‘newgrass’ band “The Moonshiners”. Louises fiddling gives Jigsaw authenticity and energy.

  • Sam

    Penny Whistle, Flute, Piccolo

    Sam is also a classically trained musician. Outside Jigsaw, she plays the double bass in local ‘newgrass’ band “The Moonshiners” and the regional orchestra. Sams playing brings harmonies, tone and depth to the band.

  • Jaz

    Guitar, Vocals

    Jaz’s musical roots are deeply fixed in post punk and this shines through his playing and performance. He brings a rawness and energy to the precision and light of the violin and penny whistle. He can also be found in local ‘newgrass’ band “The Moonshiners”.

  • CJ

    Bass Guitar

    CJ is a multi talented musician often seen swopping Lead guitar and bass in many local rock & punk bands. His bass lines add a depth and meat to Jigsaw.

  • VK

    Bohdrum, Snare, Stomp

    VK is an incredible percussionist, playing full kits in local rock bands and percussion for local orchestra’s. His Bohdrum, snare and stomp playing give Jigsaw a drive and energy.
