Jigsaw Ceilidh’s
We have played many ceilidhs, for Weddings, Burns Suppers or just an excuse to have a fantastic evening dancing!
We come with our regular caller, Helena, a native Scot who is also fluent in French. This means we can walk a mixed group of French and Scottish, (and English of course) through the dance steps before launching into each dance.
Our experience is to avoid the more complex Ceildih dances when groups have a large proportion of inexperienced ceilidh regulars and instead stick to repeating the classics. This gives people an opportunity to master the steps.
Naturally we have multiple music sets for each dance.
